▲1 Gbps CC-Link IE TSN based motion – CC-Link IETSN is an Ethernet based open communication network. This 1 Gbps network enables time synchronizationacross all connected devices and includes servoamplifiers, motion modules, I/Os, PLC etc. CC-Link IE TSN facilitates IoT infrastructure acrossthe manufacturing enterprise.
▲Multi network connectivity – MR-J5 is compatiblewith EtherCAT®, allowing for a communication cycle of125μs and pulse train connection at pulse frequency of4 million pulses/s.

▲Instant start-up tuning – The servo amplifier sets thespeed loop gain and suppresses machine resonancein approximately 0.3 seconds through the servo, oncommand. The machine is able to run instantly andsmoothly once the servo is enabled. The One-TouchTuning function provides more optimum performancewith further gain adjustment to reduce settling time. No tuning experience is required since gain values areautomatically generated. This results in a completelytrouble-free experience at your machine’s startup, andcuts machine setup time and effort.
▲Advanced Vibration Suppression Control II™ – Thispatented function of the Mitsubishi Electric servo systemeffectively suppress vibration on both the load and themachine base at frequencies as low as 100Hz. Thisfunction enhances high-response motion and improvesproductivity in a multi-inertia mechanism.

Servo-based predictive maintenance – The MR-J5servo provides predictive maintenance powered by AItechnology. The servo amplifier detects mechanicalcomponent deterioration through friction and vibrationvalues changes, and generates a failure warning as areminder before any severe downtime happens. Thishelps to improve machine uptime, reduce unexpectedfailures, and minimize spare parts inventory.
Safety Sub-Functions – MR-J5 servo amplifiers workwith RD78 motion modules and our iQ-R safety CPUand support safety communication via CC-Link IE TSN. This allows servo motors to support a wide variety ofsafety sub-functions at a higher safety level, decreasingdowntime and improving overall machine safety.
