MITSUBISHI MATERIALS STATEMENT

●Mitsubishi Materials Corporation (MMC) discovered that rubber packings and gaskets, originating from the Minoshima Works of Mitsubishi Cable Industries, Ltd. (MCI, a subsidiary of MMC), and brass and copper products, originating from the Wakamatsu Plant of Mitsubishi Shindoh Co., Ltd. (MSC, a subsidiary of MMC), deviated from customer standards or internal company specification due to misconduct, including the rewriting of inspection records. MCI became aware of the misconduct February 2017 and suspended shipments October 23, 2017.
●MSC became aware of the misconduct October 16, 2017and suspended shipments October 18, 2017. Wurth Electronics Midcom has surveyed its potentially affected suppliers and confirms that there are no components containing materials from MMC or its subsidiaries MCI and MSC in our supply chain. Therefore, all Wurth Electronics Midcom products are free of concerns arising from the reported MMC quality control issues.
