NXP SE05x T=1 Over I²C Specification User manual
■T=1 is a peer to peer, half duplex transmission protocol defined in ISO/IEC 7816-3. T=1protocol usage is very common in the smart card domain. This document specifies howISO/IEC 7816-3 T=1 protocol shall be used to transfer APDUs between a hosting device(HD) and a Secure Element (SE) using serial physical interfaces based on I²C .
■In view of the OSI protocol stack the serial physical interface I²C , shall serve as physical layers. A customized ISO/IEC 7816-3 T=1 protocol shall be used as data link layer.
