TRANSDUCER DATE CODE AND WARRANTY NUMBERING SYSTEM APPLICATION NOTE (AN-10)

●Knowles identifies the week and year of manufacturing, warranty period, lot number, and sub-lot number. Marking is based on the size of the transducer. Nearly all products are laser marked as illustrated at the top of the next page. The exact location of each field may vary depending upon the product family and model. There is a maximum of 12 characters per line, using 2 or 3 lines. Where product size restricts the amount of information that can be legibly marked, a maximum of 7 characters is used per line with 3 characters representing the actual model number.
