Configuring SNMP With Siretta Routers
■SNMP is the short form of Simple Network Management Protocol. SNMP is the protocol for collecting and organising information about devices connected to a network and is used as the tool for network monitoring.
■This guide covers how to set SNMP on a Siretta Router. SNMP v1 and v2c are supported on all Siretta Routers as defined in RFCs 1155, 1157, RFC 1901, RFC 1905, RFC 1906 and RFC2578. Siretta Routers act as the “Agent” (Client) where router can be connected to the SNMP“Manager” (Server).
