●S-2CONNECT API (Application Programming Interface) is an open API for interfacing with S-2CONNECT devices. It doesn’t require the development of complex device interaction and device management solutions. The API is already there, get access and start using the data now.
●Design UX, not Infrastructure
■S-2CONNECT Server system is a purpose-built Cloud-based platform that interacts with S-2CONNECT devices. Data retrieved from the devices are stored in the S-2CONNECT server system database, together with configurations and settings. Data, configurations and settings of devices are available via S-2CONNECT API.
●How Does it Work?
■S-2CONNECT products measure Temperature, Humidity, Shock and Vibration, send Positions, and react to different kinds of impact. All information they collect is trasnferred to the S-2CONNECT Server system and stored in the database. Information about the device, such as battery level and radio signal strength are also sent to the database.
■How frequently the device shall send information, alarm/threshold levels and other parameters can be configured for each device. Every time a S-2CONNECT device connects to the S-2CONNECT server system, it checks if there are new configurations to download.
■Through the API, it is possible to fetch the data the S-2CONNECT devices have transferred to the S-2CONNECT server system and make changes to the S-2CONNECT device configuration.
