Application story of W-8339 for Monitoring System
24 refrigerators/freezers containing forensic material is being monitored for devastating temperature changes.It is monitored for increasing temperatures in connection with for instance opened doors (the digtal modules are monitoring this) on the cabinets. If predetermined values are exceeded in the software running on the controller an alarm goes off and sends e-mail and SMS messages to the recipients entered in the system. Status and current temperature for each refrigerator/freezer can be monitored through the web interface on the controller. Besides this, the data is saved every 5th. minute to a database or regular evaluation performed by a governmental assigned accreditation institute.
