●Reason for Change: In a continuous effort to provide customers with the best ELI experience possible, FDI has made two hardware enhancements to the ELI70-CR.
●Detailed Description of Change: FDI has made two enhancements to the ELI70-CR.
◆Input Voltage Range enhancements: To support customers requiring a wider range of input voltages we have enhanced the ELI power input circuity to support the full range of +5.0 VDC to +24.0 VDC (+ or – 5%)
◆Backlight PWM Input enhancements: We recommended the use of a push-pull output to drive the ELI PWM input for backlight control. However, some customer who only have an open-collector (or open-drain) output available prefer to use this configuration if possible to drive the ELI backlight PWM input. To support these customers, we have optimized a pull up resistor value in the PWM input circuit to provide better square wave matching on the drive waveforms, especially at higher frequencies like 100 KHz.
■These hardware changes should be 100% backward compatible and should have no effect on customer systems using current revision ELI units.
