Ex RF BAT 3,6 V/... Battery Mounting and wiring instructions
■The battery of series Ex RF BAT 3.6 V/... complies with the European standards EN 60079-0 and 60079-11 and therefore is designed for use in explosive areas as to 60079-14. The battery must be installed into an enclosure that has been tested and certified for explosion protection (Ex). The enclosure‘s degree of protection must be at least IP20. The enclosure must be suitable as mechanical protection. The evaluation of the necessary mechanical protection must be carried out with the Ex equipment certificate of the end device. The battery of series Ex RF BAT 3.6 V/... serves as power supply for the wireless switch of series Ex RF 96...
