●This application note demonstrates how to generate the supply voltage required by Freescaleís MC34940 and MC33941 Electric Field Imaging Devices in low voltage systems that do not have an appropriate voltage available. Inductive boost and regulated charge pump techniques are compared and example circuits are given using off-the-shelf components.
