Bourns® CAY10-AS, CAY16-AS and CAT16-AS Series Sulfur-Resistant Thick Film Chip Arrays to be Discontinued PRODUCT OBSOLESCENCE MEMO

Riverside, California – July 6, 2021 – In accordance with our ongoing product lifecycle management procedures, Bourns will transfer the CAY10-AS, CAY16-AS and CAT16-AS Series Sulfur-Resistant Thick Film Chip Arrays to an End of Product Life status on September 30, 2021. A lack of sales volume and diminishing demand necessitates this action. A list of discontinued part numbers and their recommended replacement part numbers can be found in the table on the next pages. Affected data sheets are available.
The other Models of the CAT/CAY chip resistor arrays will continue to be supported.
Customers must notify Bourns in writing within 30 days of publication of this notification if they consider the discontinued products to be sole sourced by Bourns. In such cases, Bourns will work with customers to negotiatean appropriate End of Product Life purchase for the discontinued products. Orders for these discontinued products during this End of Product Life transition period will be considered non-cancellable. Products purchased during this End of Product Life transition period will be considered non-returnable and will be covered by Bourns' standard warranty.
