●Note that the MPC750 is implemented in both a 2.6-volt version (part number MPC750A)and a 1.9-volt version (MPC750P). The functionality of the tau will be identical in all
members of the MPC750 family though process differences may affect the accuracy of the thermal measurement reported. See the MPC750 Hardware Specification (order #: MPC750EC/AD) forelectrical details including the resolution (4°C assumed in this application note) and accuracy (normally noworse than ± 16°C) of the TAU. A calibration capability, described in this application note, can beprogrammed to improve the accuracy of the temperature value returned.
