First Step Guide to LC709501F (Xstormy16) Development Tools

This document briefly describes the procedures for installing the LC709501F (Xstormy16) Development Tools package, developing programs with it, and submitting completed programs to ON Semiconductor.The readers who are using the LC709501F (Xstromy16) Development Tools package for the first time should make it through the procedures given in this document to acquire a better understanding of the usage of the tools.
The document presumes that you are using a microcontroller that is equipped with an on-chip debugger. Even if you don't have one on hand, you can gain experience of the similar procedures by using the emulation function of this debugger.
This document assumes that the LC709501F (Xstormy16) Development Tool files are located in the installer's default directory (C:¥Program Files¥SscX16). If they are installed in a different directory in your system, read any references to them accordingly.For more specific procedures to handle these programs and other information necessary for constructing programs, refer to the documents that are listed below.
