RADIO-1200-5G Wireless broadband radio - 5.8 GHz
The WAVES RADIO-1200-5G, part of the ALERiTY integrated Mass Notification platform, is a high-speed broadband radio that provides wireless connections between Ethernet devices and/or Ethernet wired networks (LANs). The RADIO-1200-5G can be used for communication to end nodes (i.e. HPSA-8100-R and ACU-8421) as well as a bridge. The Eaton approved radio can be added to any IPC2 node within the WAVES Mass Notification System for wireless communications. The RADIO-1200-5G must be connected to an IPC2 for power and supervision and provide DC-DC PoE injector.
The WAVES wireless radio provides broadband connectivity, operating in the 5.8 GHz frequency band.It combines the benefits of reliable distance communications with data throughput required by the ALERiTY platform. The RADIO-1200-5G provides a mesh network for increased reliability and uptime. It supports point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, relay, repeater (2 radios), and hybrid topologies. In addition, the RADIO-1200-5G features superior diagnostic tools, including antenna alignment, length strength, white list and black list filtering, and programmable meshing.

■Maximum of 15 radios can be connected directly to any one node or access point
■Each radio can support up to 15 wired IPC nodes
