●Features
◆A balanced type circular disk resonator (BCDR) method makes a multi-frequency complex permittivity measurement. In this measurement, BCDR must be excited in the very center of circular disk by coaxial cable and exites selectively only the TM0m0 modes having different values of integer m. A frequency dependent measurement result of the dielectric sheets is obtained from the measured value of the resonant frequency and unloaded Q of the TM0m0 modes for only one circular disk resonator.
◆This resonator has the electric field of normal direction (thickness direction) inside MUT. This is very unique point of a resonator method in millimeter wave region.
