2021BC66F5132 Hopping Frequency Setup andLayout Guides
Holtek’s wireless FSK/GFSK high-efficiency 2.4GHz wireless transmitter SOC device, the BC66F5132, is suitable for use alongside 2.4GHz unlicensed band receiver applications. The device has an operating voltage of 2.0V~3.6V, an integrated multi-channel 10-bit A/D Converter, a 8-bittimer/counter, a PWM generator, I/O ports with programmable drive current capability and a 2.4GHz RF transmitter.
The RF transmitter contains a programmable transmission power with a maximum +6dBm output and a packet format handler that supports data whitening and CRC calculations. The device has three data transmission rates, 125 kbps, 250 kbps and 500kbps as well as a four channel frequency hopping function. This can increase wireless transmission data efficiency and reduce the probability of data errors.
The radio frequency characteristics comply with ETSI and FCC specifications. The device is suitable for use in wireless appliances such as smart homes, industrial and agricultural controllers, etc. This application note will introduce the basic RF functions so that users who are using RF transmitters for the first time can understand their operating principles, control methods and a quickly start to design related applications.
