●Introduction
■The MAX20754 dual power-supply controller has six pulse-width modulated outputs (PWM signals) that can be assigned in various combinations to either of the two regulators. This flexibility is valuable because one controller can fill many DC-buck power conversion roles, but this flexibility also means some thought must be given to the physical placement of the individual phases within the output inductor, particularly if coupled inductors are used.
