CC2640R2FRSM Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy Master Module and Protocol
■BLE master transparent transmission protocol is designed on the basis of BLE slave transparent transmission protocol. This master transparent transmission module can connect to the slave transparent transmission module instead of a mobile device, and realize the function of transparent transmission and direct-drive control. This master transparent transmission module can be used as an auxiliary tool of slave transparent transmission during development process.
■BLE5.0 master transparent transmission module (hereinafter to be referred as MTTM)can work under the following modes:transparent transmission mode (hereinafter to be referred as TTM) and command mode (hereinafter to be referred as CM).Compared to BLE4.2 transparent transmission module, BLE5.0 transparent transmission module can achieve 2 times the transmission speed, 4 times the transmission distance, 8 times the broadcast and data transmission volume.And the BLE5.0 MTTM are backward compatible to connectable with 4.2 and 4.0 slave devices.
■After powered on, MTTM is instandby mode (hereinafter to be referred as SBM),and is in idle state and no sleep. MTTM can be controlled to connect to the slave device by AT commands. After successful connected with the slave device, MTTM will automatically search the transparent transmission channel of the slave device. If the salve module is RF-star slave transparent transmission module (hereinafter to be referred as STTM),MTTM will enter transparent transmission mode by default, otherwise into command mode by default.
■Under transparent transmission mode state, the user CPU can communicate bidirectionally with slave module by general serial port of master module. The data input from the serial port of master module will be transmitted to the slave module and output form its serial port. The data input from the serial port of slave module will be transmitted to the master module and output from its serial port. By this way, two-way transparent transmission is realized. The specific meaning of user data is defined by the upper application.
