with reference to your request regarding compliance of our products to the Conflict Minerals US legislation(the SEC Dodd-Frank Act),and to the future European Regulation(EU)2017/821,please note the following.
We herewith declare that our standard series of multipole connectors and all series of connector enclosures do not include components with parts of the following substances:
-Tantalum
-Tin
-Tungsten
-Gold
(the so-called 3T+G conflict minerals)which come from the Democratic Republic of Congo or its neighbour countries(Angola,Burundi,Central African Republic,Rwanda,South Sudan,Tanzania,Uganda and Zambia).
As confirmed by our supplies both the tin and the gold employed in the electroplating baths for the above mentioned contact tin plating or gold plating are not originating from minerals extracted in the Democratic Republic of Congo or in the above listed neighbour countries,in compliance with Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and of the relevant regulation of the US SEC,and with the forthcoming European Regulation(EU)2017/821 on the subject matter.
