How to build a sensor
Smart sensors, whether for commercial use like process monitoring or personal use like wearable devices or home sensors for lifestyle and security— are the foundation for collecting data into actionable information for users. Smart sensors validate control requests sent to end devices like locks, lights and hvac systems, they also trigger events like fire and burglar alarms for response operators.
This session will provide a walkthrough of a smart sensor project via Simplicity Studio with an overview of the main care-abouts. Options for leveraging existing solutions will be presented to help choose the best path to get started designing.
