HVAC-SYSTEM-MACROs WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 Application note
Motivation:
Comprehensive programs need to be generated for controls and visualizations within the context of implementing planned heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Many of these systems have recurrent functions that enable standardization of the systems. WAGO is providing its customers with ready-made system macros for cases like this. Macros can often replace expensive programming, and the use of proven system macros contributes to system standardization and quality assurance.
System Macros:
The system macros are based on linking various function blocks from the library, WagoAppBuildingHVAC.library. The function blocks are linked to each other such that they enable control of an entire ventilation system, for example.
Configuration parameters for the individual function blocks are combined into a common structure in the system macros. This has the advantage that only one place holder is required for the entire configuration screen in the e!COCKPIT visualization.
The system macro interface consists, for the most part, only of the variables that are necessary for the hardware data points. Thus, the overview of the individual system macros is retained.
The manual override within the system macros allows the operator to override individual system parts using the visualization screens.
Open Source:
The system macros are available as “open source” and can be adapted as necessary to individual system demands.
