750-455/020-000 4-Channel Analog Input Module 4-20 mA, Single-ended, 4 × 24 V Manual
The Analog Input Module 750-455/020-000 (4AI 4-20mA S.E./ 4×24V) processes analog signals with the norm value of 4 mA ... 20 mA.
The I/O module has 4 input channels and enables field signals to be received via the CAGE CLAMP® connectors AI 1 and 24 V or AI 2, AI 3, AI 4 and 24 V.
The 0 V potential of the field supply level serves as a common reference ground for the inputs.
The 24 V field supply potential is distributed to the 24 V CAGE CLAMP®connections by the I/O module to allow sensors not powered externally to be connected using 2-wire technology.
The input signal is electrically isolated and is transmitted with a resolution of 12 bits.
A red fault LED per channel indicates a wire break or that the signal is outside the measuring range.
With consideration of the power jumper contacts, the individual modules can be arranged in any combination when configuring the fieldbus node. An arrangement in groups within the group of potentials is not necessary.
Power to the internal electronics is supplied via internal data bus.
The I/O module 750-455/020-000 (4AI 4-20mA S.E./ 4×24V) receives the 24 V voltage supply for the field level from an upstream I/O module or from the fieldbus coupler/controller via blade-formed power jumper contacts. It then provides these potentials to subsequent I/O modules via spring-formed power jumper contacts.
The I/O module 750-455/020-000 can be used with all fieldbus couplers/controllers of the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 (except for the economy types 750-320, -323, -324 and -327).
