OEM Tag Product Brief
The OEM tag can be housed within the Redpine Signals’ RTLS system offering It is a locationing device that enables the tracking of the location of an asset or a person based on active Wi-Fi technology. It can operate in conjunction with Cisco compliant infrastructure or with Redpine’s RTLS NetworkMote. It supports multiple modes of operation which the user can choose based on the RF environment and use case..The OEM tag takes power from the battery which is already deployed in different products (cap lamps and wrist tags etc..).
In addition to location, the tag provides telemetry information as well (battery life, motion and emergency). It can provide control signals for LED controls and also sense button press events. The built-in motion detector can be used to configure differing beaconing intervals for quiet and active situations, helping conserve battery life.
The tag supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band Wi-Fi operation, conforming to the 802.11a/b/g/n standards and BLE 5.0.
