Film Capacitors Metallized polypropylene film capacitors (MKP)
The dielectric polypropylene (PP) exhibits high pulse handling capability and lower self-heating. The internal series connection enables high voltages up to 2000 V.
Polyproylene exhibits better electrical properties than polyester.
Operating temperatures are up to 110°C for some series.
Polypropylene capacitors are preferred for critical electrical conditions in industrial,consumer and lighting applications.
