●The WIMA Group is aware of the obligation about information in conjunction with captioned REACH regulation in case of products containing substances of particularly high concern (“SVHC = Substances of Very High Concern").
●Based on information about material composition of the semi-finished goods and auxiliary materials used in our production being continuously updated by our suppliers it is to be established that capacitors of all WIMA ranges, i. e.
■Plastic Film Capacitors for SMT and THT
■Plastic Film Snubber Capacitors and DC Link Capacitors
■Metallized Paper Capacitors (WIMA MP EMI Suppression Capacitors)
■Double-L ayer Capacitor Modules (WIMA PowerBlock)
as well as the original packing materials used for dispatch of such components do not contain substances that are environmentally hazardous or of high concern, i.e. including SVHC as shown in the last amended version of the Candidate List 一last updated: 16.07 2019 - published by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), and/or possible traces due to raw material impurities are of a concentration which does not require verification in the sense of the guidelines currently valid.
●Accordingly, WIMA capacitors of the product ranges mentioned above do not contain any of the substances requiring registration as per REACH ANNEX XIV.
●Furthermore WIMA capacitors do not contain any“dangerous substances, mixtures and articles" as listed in the REACH ANNEX XVI.
