●Description
■The STAssetTracking app allows you to remotely configure a Sigfox Asset Tracking node from a compatible Android device with Bluetooth connectivity. It provides the functionality to enable data logging for specific sensors and set threshold triggers to start and stop logging activity, which the node then transmits via the LPWAN Sigfox service featuring low-energy device geolocation.
■The app communicates with the FP-ATR-SIGFOX1 function pack firmware running on an STM32 microcontroller, which manages the specific environmental and motion sensor data logging activity and sends it over Sigfox network infrastructure.
■The function pack hardware for the node includes an appropriate STM32 Nucleo development platform plus various X-NUCLEO expansion boards with dedicated ICs providing S2-LP Sub-1GHz connectivity for the Sigfox network and Bluetooth low energy connectivity for the STAssetTracking app, as well as a sensor board featuring several ST high performance environmental and motion sensors.
