Fujitsu TP8 15'' & 18.5'' Capacitive Touchscreen Displays
Both displays utilise a common LCD control module with separate LCD panel, which can be simply swapped for upgrade or maintenance. The panels are also the same as those used in the TP8 AIO system to provide for maximum flexibility and lower service costs.
Whilst primarily designed for use with TP8 Modular and AIO systems, they can also be used with any PoS controller or standard PC systems, to provide a stylish and robust Operator or Customer display.
The use of two full-screen displays at the checkout or service counter is a great way to expand the promotional capabilities in a retail setting, as well as improve customer service and satisfaction by displaying a full rolling receipt, or other promotional
messages.
The TP8 displays incorporates a ten-point multi-touch projected capacitive sensor. This provides for a bright display and enables a user, with appropriate application and operating system support, to manipulate an image on screen with a range of gestures similar to those employed on the latest generation of smartphones and tablets. It is also fully compatible with the latest generation of operating systems with integrated touch-panel support.
The optional dual-hinge display stand enables the height and angle of the display to be simply adjusted for optimum ergonomics at the point of service. Cable management is fully integrated into the stand to hide all cables and route them through or onto the counter-top. Attachment of the display to the stand is via a single thumbscrew. Alternatively, the displays can be independently wall or pole mounted using a standard VESA 100 adaptor plate.
Display configuration:
15” 4:3 or 18.5” 16:9 Projected Capacitive touchscreen with integrated speakers and anti-glare coating.
The display can be installed on a standard VESA 100mm mount, or can be used with the optional dual-hinge desktop stand as shown in the pictures.
An integrated cable cover on the desk-stand is used to hide power and interface cables to route them into the counter, or to exit onto the counter-top.
Display data is provided via a digital DisplayPort interface.
A single powered USB cable is made available to enable the display to be powered and data to be communicated from a 12V powered USB port on the host controller.
An optional three-track Magnetic Stripe Reader is available which may be mounted on the left or right of the display.
