●For the optional telephone-operated service within the R&S®XK 2000 fami-ly,the radio must be equipped with the internal ALE,APP and EMC filter ALE/APP options.
●Moreover,the accessory Telephone Ex-change Set R&S®GA 2160-which con-sists of a PABX and a standard analog telephone set-must be connected to the telephone connection box of the APP.This assembly allows telephone- like operation of the entire radio system, with full radio operation (link setup),ringing,signaling and (semiduplex)oper-ation from the telephone set.
●To increase the number of subscribers or to provide access to the telephone net-work,other(larger-capacity)PABXs can be used,or a direct PSTN line can be connected to the APP's telephone con-nection box.
