◆Detailed Description of Change
■IXYS Integrated Circuits Division has qualified a new mold epoxy for the CPC1008N, CPC1017N and CPC1035N 4-pin SOP solid state relays that ensures these parts are now halogen-free providing an environmentally green product.
■In addition, the Input Voltage Drop (VF) maximum specification at IF=5mA for the LED input on these products has changed from 1.4V to 1.5V.
■The changes are effective on June 1, 2017 and are documented in the updated data sheets for these products.
■The PCN number assigned to this action is PCN1053 and should be referenced in any correspondence related to the change.
◆Reason for Change
■The new mold epoxy will provide an environmentally green solution to our customers.
■The change in LED Input Voltage Drop is due to a shift in materials properties requiring a specification change.
