●Application
■Pepperl+Fuchs VisuNet Remote Monitors (VisuNet RMs) are industrial-grade thin client solutions that give operators a simplified, modern user interface. The firmware of a VisuNet RM, called VisuNet RM Shell, enables users to easily access applications that run on process control systems via Ethernet.
■With the RM Shell 5 DRDC license key, the EMERSON DRDC client can be enabled in the RM Shell 5: The EMERSON DeltaV® Remote Desktop Connection (DRDC) client allows direct connection to a virtualized Emerson DeltaV system from a VisuNet RM. No additional thin clients are required in the safe area. Further, all features of a VisuNet RM (such as auto-connect, connection loss detection, backup connection, etc.) can be used for a DRDC connection, which gives you maximum reliability in your process automation application.
