SLKOR Optocoupler 6N135S with High Isolation Performance of up to 5000VRMS and Transmitter Current (IF) of 25mA
When it comes to electronic components, an Optocoupler is a highly useful device. In modern society, optocouplers are commonly used electronic components for achieving isolation and transmission between light and electrical signals. They offer advantages such as small size, long lifespan, no mechanical contact, strong anti-interference capability, electrical isolation between input and output sides, and one-way signal transmission. As a result, they find wide applications in circuits. Today, we will introduce the Sarko Microelectronics SLKOR optocoupler 6N135S, which has the following basic structure as shown in the diagram below:
An optocoupler consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter typically utilizes a light-emitting diode (LED), while the receiver employs a phototransistor. When the light from the input LED is sufficient to turn on the phototransistor, a circuit current is generated in the output circuit. This circuit current is commonly referred to as the collector current (Ic). In the case of the 6N135S, its collector current (IC) is 50mA. This high-current output makes the 6N135S an ideal choice for handling large amounts of data and it can be used in various fields such as communication devices, medical instruments, and industrial control systems.
In addition to its high-current output, the 6N135S also possesses other excellent performance parameters. For example, its collector-emitter voltage (VCEO) is 30V, allowing it to withstand high voltage signals and ensuring the reliability of signal transmission. Additionally, its reverse voltage (VR) is 5V, effectively protecting the circuit from adverse voltage effects and improving the overall system stability. Furthermore, the optocoupler has a transmitter current (IF) of 25mA and is available in an SMD-8 package form, making it easy to install and providing convenience for manufacturers.
Moreover, the 6N135S boasts high isolation performance of up to 5000VRMS. This means that the component can safely isolate voltages of up to 5000 volts, ensuring no electrical connection between the optical and electrical signals. High isolation performance is critical in many application scenarios, such as medical equipment and industrial control systems.
Furthermore, the 6N135S features a DC input and a transistor output. This design enables faster response times, higher accuracy, and better linearity. Improved response speed allows for quicker signal transmission, enhancing system real-time capabilities and responsiveness. The high accuracy and good linearity guarantee signal precision and stability.
The 6N135S is a high-performance optocoupler that can be used in a variety of applications. Whether it is in-line receivers, telecommunications equipment, CMOS-LSTTL-TTL output interfaces, broadband analog couplings, pulse transformer replacements, or computer peripheral interfaces, the 6N135S provides efficient and reliable signal transmission support.
The high isolation performance and high-quality design of the 6N135S provide stable and reliable signal transmission support for various electronic systems.
