TMS‘s Solution to Convert Most Avionic and Electronic Warfare Antennas into “Blind Mate“ Antennas
Antennas connected to military airframes with rigid connectors are challenging to access, service, and replace. Airframe design engineers turn to us for the innovative interconnect solutions that solve these problems—improving reliability, maintainability, and serviceability.

The Blind Mate Antenna Solution enables aircraft design engineers to convert most Avionic and Electronic Warfare Antennas into "blind mate" antennas—a more serviceable plug-in, quick-release connector product. They eliminate the need to remove panels or maneuver into compact spaces preventing damage to coaxial cables and saving space. This solution also counters the damaging impact of in-flight shock and vibrations on fragile connectors by transferring all mechanical loads to the airframe itself.
