- To Answer your question, the Si84xx digital isolators have an internal 2uA current source pull down on each input.If an input pin is left floating, it is pulled low to the voltage potential at its ground terminal. This 2uA pull-down current is sufficient to protect against any external parasitic capacitive noise coupling in electrically noisey environments as well.
