PAEK High-Heat Cable
Management Solutions
PAEK (polyaryletherketone) is an ultra-performance thermoplastic that
is uniquely suited to high heat applications. Its superior heat resistance,
outstanding strength and chemical resistance make it an ideal material
for cable ties and cable management solutions in engine and powertrain
applications in the automotive, aerospace and rail industries. Additionally,
PAEK offers considerable cost savings as compared to similar polyketone
materials.
PAEK Cable Ties
HellermannTyton PAEK cable ties offer very high temperature resistance
for use in demanding applications such as in engine compartments,
near exhaust components, and in enclosed industrial cabinets. PAEK ties
are inside serrated and feature a high performance design that, along
with the material, offer extremely high tensile strength for demanding
applications.

• Very high heat resistance up to 200°C (392°F).
• PAEK material has double the tensile strength of nylon.
• Very good chemical resistance against hydrocarbons.

PAEK Fir Tree Mount and Cable Tie Assembly
High heat resistant r tree and cable tie assemblies provide a secure
grip in mounting holes. The mount provides low insertion and
high extraction force and slides along the cable tie for the proper
orientation. Sold as an assembly with the cable tie and mount.
Features and Benets
• Fir tree push mount offers simple and easy to use method of
bundling and xing cable ties.
• Fir tree design ensures a positive secure xing into panels with
thicknesses from 1.25 mm to 6.0 mm or threaded blind holes.
• High heat resistance offers maximum performance on both xing
surface and area near bundle.
