DNS Redirect Process for the HA7000 using

supplied Legrand Router

I. Application/Purpose

This document will help to guide an installation partner or homeowner through the process of redirecting the HA7000

Intuity Home Automation Controller to the new Legrand cloud platform. This process is required for all existing controllers

in the field and will provide the first step to restore Intuity services. Once the controller has been redirected to the new

cloud platform, the unit will be ready to communicate and accept additional updates as necessary to facilitate the

restoration of the overall functionality of the Intuity Home Automation System.

II. Associated Part Numbers

HA7000 – Intuity Automation Controller

Legrand Provided DNS Redirect Router (Supplied by Legrand)

CAT 5e or CAT 6 jumper cable

III. Explanation

To begin the process, disconnect the power from the Intuity Home Automation Controller (HA7000). Once the

unit has been powered down, disconnect the Ethernet cable that is plugged into the LAN port of the controller.

The Ethernet cable that was removed from the LAN port is providing connectivity to the controller and is likely

coming from the primary customer router in the home. Once removed from the controller’s LAN port, that same

Ethernet cable will need to be connected to the WAN port of the supplied Legrand DNS redirect router.

Next, connect a CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable into any one of the LAN ports of the supplied Legrand DNS

redirect router. Take the other end of that cable and plug it into the LAN port of the HA7000 Home Automation

Controller. Refer to the diagram below to ensure that the proper connections have been made:
