Small Packaged Differential Clock Oscillator
Lisle, IL – CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS) announces the release of Model 626, a high frequency
low jitter clock oscillator, housed in a very small hermetically sealed ceramic package
[2.5mmx2.0mm]. M626 features clock rates between 6MHz and 175MHz with less than 500fs
phase jitter performance throughout the frequency range. Standard LVPECL or LVDS
differential output options are
available, along with choice of +2.5V or +3.3V voltage operation. To support low power
chipset designs, +1.8V operation is also available for LVDS output option.
Model 626 offers typical stability options of ±20, ±25, ±30ppm and ±50ppm for standard
operating temperature ranges -20°C to +70°C and -40°C to +85°C. In addition, an extended operating
temperature range is available, with ±50pmm stability over -40°C to +105°C, for use in fan-less
environments.
Adding to CTS’ extensive low jitter clock portfolio, Model 626 will provide the design engineer a low
cost, miniature size solution, along with high performance capabilities suitable for complex electronic
systems. This new clock model will support a wide array of market segments; covering infrastructure
telecommunication networking, server applications, test and measurement, medical test equipment and
much more; delivering superior phase jitter performance and a high level of frequency stability.
