China RoHS Conformity Certificate
This document certifies that all components and all homogeneous sub-components which are
manufactured by Würth Elektronik eiSos GmbH & Co. KG comply with the current China RoHS
2 "Administrative Measures for the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in
Electrical and Electronic Products ". The Act entered into force on 1 July 2016. Similar to EU-
RoHS the Act is intended to limit the spread of certain toxic substances in electronic products.
China RoHS contains the following substances, detailed concentration limits are set by GB/T
26572-2011.
- Lead (Pb), 0.1%
- Mercury (Hg), 0.1%
- Cadmium (Cd), 0.01%
- Hexavalent chromium (Cr6
+
), 0.1%
- Polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), 0.1%
- Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), 0.1%
The China RoHS 2 requires that all electrical and electronic products that fall within its scope
of application must be marked with one of the following two logos according to standard SJ/T
11364-2014 if they are used directly by the end user (B2C-Business). The selection of the logo
is dependent on whether or not hazardous substances are contained above the respective limit
value.
The green "e" symbol signifies that the product does not contain restricted
substances above the respective limit value and is a green, environmentally
friendly product which can be recycled.
The orange “number” symbol signifies that the product contains certain
hazardous substances above the respective limit value, can be used safely
during its environmental friendly use period (EFUP), as indicated by the number
of years in the center, and should enter the recycling system after its EFUP.
Manufacturers and importers shall also provide a declaration table of the
hazardous substances present in the product, in accordance with standard SJ/T
11364-2014.
