Responding to the huge traffic growth, AGCXD40V1 utilizes the in-
novative architecture from merchant silicon, which provides opera-
tors a truly scalable system. 2RU single box design with industrial
standard optical module connectivity, it greatly reduces the CAPEX
and OPEX for the IP/MPLS and Transport Network.
The AGCXD40V1 is configured for 40 of 100GbE
QSFP28 and 13 of 400GbE QSFP-DD and AGCXD40V1
takes all the traffic from the 100GbE interfaces and utilize
the connection of 400GbE to AGCC048, the fabric switch,
for scaling up and creating a non- blocking traffic.
Embedded HBM (High Bandwidth Memory), fungible ta-
bles and enhanced programmability, this device is ideal
for carrier networking in the core. Moreover, large MDB
(Modular DataBase) provides a large table sizes for vari-
ous applications.
High Availability
The AGCXD40V1 has two slots for hot-swappable PSUs
(Power Supply Units) and the modular fan design offers
3+1 redundancy support. The QSFP28 and QSFP-DD
transceiver modules can be easily removed and replaced
with no interruption to the network. These hot-swappable
modules guarantee the continued delivery of essential
services.
Rich Feature Set
To fulfill the requirement of telecom networks,
AGCXD40V1 also offers choices of timing interfaces and
provides frequency and time synchronization to the base
stations which are connected to it. The device will be po-
tentially deployed in many different scenarios so it shall
also be able to receive the time sync signal and propagate
it to other network elements close to it in the network..
