Description of Change:

Renesas Electronics Germany GmbH (formerly known as IDT Europe GmbH) and Renesas

Electronics (Penang) Sdn Bhd (formerly known as IDT Malaysia Sdn. Bhd ) will replace IDT

Name/Logo with Renesas Name/Logo on packaging material (shipping tube & packing box) ,

shipping documents and labels effective 1 Apr 2020.

Refer Appendix A for example of logo/name replacement.

During the transition period, customer may receive shipments with either logo/name on the

inner boxes or labels after the effective date, until such time the inventory has been depleted.

The outer shipping label and shipping documents (COC, Invoice, packing list …..etc) will

transition to the Renesas logo/name on the effective date.

Similarly, the company name and/or logo imprint on packaging materials will be changed from

IDT to Renesas as soon as the existing inventories are depleted or reach up to a minimum level.

And during the transition period, customers may expect to receive products packed in the

existing packaging materials and new packaging materials.

This is part of system Integration into Renesas.

Impact on Fit, Form, Function, Quality & Reliability:

The change is on Logo/Name only, there is no impact on fit, form, function, quality, reliability,

performance and environmental compliance of the products.

Product Identification:

No change on top mark for existing products.
