security management. From the very beginning, vendor -neutrality has been the de cisive advantage of the
WinGuard system, as the total secur ity, building, communic ation and IT infrastr ucture can be integrate d in
WinGuard. The user in the control center is enabled to detect all situations in the surveilled building or
perim eter in an optimal w ay, being efficiently s upported in e vent process ing by WinGuard . WinGuard is an
open software platform linking diverse security, building management and communication systems of
different manufacturer s . Pro prieta r y interfaces e nable transfer of event messages as well as comprehensive
control of all linked systems. All system s tate s are colle c tive ly displayed in only one user interfac e . The user
profits from a uniform and intuitive o peration of a wide variety of different systems . In add ition, WinGuard
offers program-guided instructions for event processing – for a quick and secure management of the
situation. Using WinGuard as centralized management system reduces purchasing and maintenance costs

Barco
Barco prov ides f lexible and mission-cr itical v isualiza tion so ftwar e and hardw are produc ts consisting of hig h-
quality displays , rear-projection and near-seamless LCD video walls, professional grade graphics controllers
and a Control Room Management suite (CMS) – an advanced software for easy display wall
management, efficient inter-control-center collaboration and fast decision making based on easily sharing
the right vis ual information to the right decisio n-mak er s at the rig ht time .
General Concept
The operator in the control room uses the WinGuard security and building management system for easy
manageme nt of the B arco C MS-powered video wa ll(s) or displa y(s). Thr oug h the WinG uard Video Manager,
the opera tor can sele ct pre-configur ed C MS so urces . The operator c an edit the CMS Perspectives on the f ly
within the WinGuard user interface. As such, the common operational picture on the video wall is easily
tuned based on current events, increasing situational awareness, without the need for additional training.
Installati o n and integration time is minimize d thro ugh easy set-up.
Configuration
The CMS s erver is co nnected to the security and build ing managem ent syste m simply by ente ring the C MS
server URL.
