SECTION 4. FIRS T-AID MEASURES
Description of first ai d measures
If i ngested, do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth. Never give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person. If irritation or sym ptoms develop, seek m edical attention.
If i nhaled, move to fresh ai r. If breathing is di ffic ult, give oxyge n by qualif ied medical
personnel only. If breat hing has stopped, give ar tificial respiration. If irri tation or symp
toms
develop, seek medical attention.
For skin contact, wash with soap and wat er while removing contaminated clot hing. If
irritation or symptoms develop, seek medical att ention.
Rinse thoroughly with pl enty of water , also under the eyeli ds. Remove contac t lenses, if
present and easy to do. If irritation or symptoms develop, seek medical att ention.

Inhalat ion of fumes may res ult in met al fume fever, a flu -like illness. Symptoms of metal
fume fever may include fever, fatigue, vomiting, muscle ac hes and shortness of breath.
If material is ingested, m ay cause irritation to mucous membranes. May cause naus ea,
vomiting and diar rhea.
If dusts are formed and expos
ure occurs: Dust contact with the eyes can lead to mechanical
irritation. S ym ptoms may i nclude stinging and tearing.

SECTION 5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable extinguishing media
Use medi a suitable to the s urrounding f ire such as water fog or fine spray, alc ohol foams,

Toxic fumes may be r eleased during a fi re. Closed contai ners may rupture if exposed to
excess heat or flame due to a bui ld-up of internal pr essure.
