Encoder Break-out Board parts

The Encoder Break-out Board contains:

1. Encoder Break-out Board

2. 1 on 1 ribbon cable to connect to LCC or LAC controller encoder connector

The purpose of the Encoder Break-out Board is to provide an extra output of encoder signals. The

encoder signals (Gnd, A+, A-, B+,B-,I+,I-) are provided via a 7-fold screw-terminal. The LED’s on the

board show the encoder signals as they are transmitted from the actuator to the controller. The

break-out signals are provided to the screw terminal via a line driver (ST26C31BDR) providing a

RS422 level encoder signal. The ribbon cable to the controller is approx. 25 cm long.

Order information

The Encoder Break-out Board can be ordered in the mounting variations “Rail Mounting” and “Board

Mounting. The Rail Mounting is compatible with mounting on Din-Rail. The Board Mounting provides

two mounting ears that have M4 holes for mounting (see images below)
