Subject: ACN# 06A-13 Advanced Change Notification of Intent to EOL
Lattice EC/P and Lattice XP Product Families
Dear Lattice Customers,
Lattice is providing this Advanced Change Notification (ACN) of our intent to end of life (EOL)
LatticeEC™/P and LatticeXP™ families of devices. The LatticeEC/P and LatticeXP products
have had a successful 10 and 9 year life, respectively. Demand has been low and falling as they
have been followed by similarly successful generations of Lattice programmable logic (PLD)
families. Newer generations of these products such as LatticeXP2™, LatticeECP2™/M and
LatticeECP3™ will be unaffected by this discontinuance. No other similar product obsolescence
activities are planned at this time.
The timing of this announcement coincides with an ongoing consolidation of foundries announced
by our fab partner, Fujitsu Electronics on May 31, 2013.
A formal Product Change Notification (PCN) with full details will be forthcoming later in July 2013.
