newly improved PYD 1798 Dual-Element
DigiPyro
Detector. Featuring improved
energy efficiency with a supply voltage range
of 1,8V – 3,6V at 4µA current consumption,
PYD 1798 is an ideal sensor for battery-operated devices requiring long life time and low
energy consumption including smart home, Internet of Things (IoT), auto lighting, safety
and security applications.
The PYD 1798 is part of Excelitas’ modular DigiPyro product platform for low voltage
operation and lowest current consumption. This allows the extension of the product
portfolio toward variable field-of-view (FOV) and multi-element detectors for ceiling
mount motion and presence detection.
Product features include:

• High EMI immunity through TO-type metal package
• Low supply voltage
• Low power consumption
