Project Description:
Residential LED RGB Lighting System
LEDs are just beginning to emerge as a viable alternative to traditional articial
sources of light. This is exciting because the LED has the potential to oer more exibility than
any other light source available. The manipulation of light coloring that was previously only
available through hardware ltering can be accomplished and changed on the y.
This project aims to be a proof-of-concept which explores the use of high-brightness
RGB LEDs as a primary source of ambient light in a home environment. The system is
designed to give the user an unprecedented level of control over his lighting using both wire-
less and wire line digital communication.
