For Vibration Analysts

In this increasingly complex world many companies have

added layers of management to make sure that money

is well spent and not wasted on unnecessary equipment

or services. In order to help explain our products and

their proper application, CTC has developed many web–

based tools to assist the vibration analyst in explaining

to various interested parties exactly what they may be

ordering.

To help analysts plan

for the proper amount

of sensors and cable

for particular applica-

tions, CTC has devel-

oped our “We Make it

Easy” guides for many

common applications

showing the amount

and approximate place-

ment of sensors for

many common applica-

tions from industrial

centrifuges to direct

drive fans to vertical

pumps.

Online utilities

CTC has developed several online utilities to help ana-

lysts specify the

proper parts to or-

der from CTC. Our

Signal Conditioner

Configurator and

Proximity Probe

Selector help an

analyst determine

the proper part

numbers for partic-

ular applications,

while our Vibration

Calculator Online

can convert com-

mon vibration val-

ues from velocity to

acceleration or dis-

placement in both

standard and met-

ric units.

3D Models

CTC is in the

process of up-

loading three

dimensional

models of all our

most common

parts, everything

from individual

connectors to

mounting hard-

ware, magnets,

sensors and

junction boxes. By left clicking on the picture and dragging

the mouse the 3D

model can be

viewed from any

angle, rotated

360° in all direc-

tions and reviewed

for suitability for

any application.
