E. STARTING THE NVR
The power button on the Server front panel may be covered by an optional bezel.
1. If your bezel is locked, use the Bezel Key (1) to
unlock it.
Note: On a new system, the Bezel is not
attached, and the Bezel Key is stored behind the
bezel.
The user can remove the key, fit the bezel and
use the key to lock it after setup, in order to
prevent unauthorized access to the system.
The Power button is not accessible when the
Bezel is locked,
Be sure to store the key so that it can be retrieved if needed.

F. STARTING AND CONFIGURING THE HORIZON NVR
Your Horizon NVR RAID Server is pre-configured by FLIR, and is almost ready for operation.
1. Turn on the monitor and start the computer.
2. Use the default username administrator and password dvtel to log on to Windows. The Horizon Initial Setup Wizard is displayed.
3. Follow the steps in the wizard. If necessary, refer to the embedded Help File for assistance.
G. FINAL STEPS
Once the wizard has been completed, the Admin Center application launches and the Login screen appears. Use the default username admin, leave the password blank and enter
the server IP address to login to the Horizon system. If you did not change the IP address, the default is 192.168.50.10 or enter localhost.
Once logged in, the Horizon home screen displays a dialog with system first launch information. By now, the system storage is configured and all cameras are discovered and
attached to the system. To conclude the setup, we recommend the following steps:
1. Rename your cameras, changing their default names to names that suit your site.
2. Add users if needed by adding them to one of the default user groups. If the default groups don't suit your needs, you can create custom user groups.
While not necessary, you can continue setting up advanced settings of the system if required.
We recommend that you print the Sign-Off report for the customer to sign before leaving the site. This report details how the system has been configured.
In order to install the client monitoring application on client workstations, please visit http://<serverIP>/clientportal, then click the download button for AdminCenter & ControlCenter,
and then run the installation package.
