2 Reason for discontinuation
• Changes in component software result in the need for a new version of the LISA-U200-61S module. The
development, qualification, and production of a new version would result in increased unit cost, while
the technical features of such a product would no longer fulfill market requirements.
• Introduction of a successor product, LISA-U200-62S, with new firmware offers better performance and
more functionality.
3 Recommendation
• LISA-U200-62S is the pin-to-pin compatible successor of LISA-U200-61S.
• Software developed for LISA-U200-61S will run also with LISA-U200-62S.
