United Monolithic Semiconductors is opening a shared foundry run on PH15 GaAs process.
The launch date for the Multi-Project Wafer is April 21
st
, 2017.
PH15 pHEMT process is optimized for the production
of low noise, wideband and medium power MMICs
operating up to 80GHz.
PH15 is very suitable for the design of low noise
amplifiers, drivers and multi-functions TX and RX for
many applications such as Space Communication
systems and Automotive collision avoidance radars.
PH15 is successfully evaluated for Space use and
referenced in the European Preferred Part List by the
European Space Agency – see:
