The receiver uses integrated light detection and

amplification in a single piece of silicon giving

enhanced immunity to EMI/EMC from the local

environment making the unit ideal for use in

electrically noisy applications. The receiver has a

single data output with an integrated 1kΩ pull-up

resistor (R

) and active pull down compatible with

standard TTL/LVTTL/CMOS
